I cannot recommend Gaynor highly enough. From the very first trial, she immediately understood the hairstyle I was looking for and created it perfectly. On the wedding day, I received so many compliments on my hair, and it stayed looking beautiful throughout the celebrations. What I appreciated most, however, was how well she listened when it came to my makeup. During my trial, the look was a little more glamorous than I had envisioned, but she was incredibly receptive to my feedback. On the wedding morning, she adjusted everything perfectly and created the natural, understated look I had hoped for. The result was exactly what I wanted: I felt like the best version of myself, rather than looking like someone else. My mum, dad, and husband all commented on how beautiful the makeup was and how perfectly it suited me, which meant so much. I chose the very lovely Gaynor to do my bridesmaid’s and my hair on my wedding day, and I’m so happy I did! We were both over the moon with how it turned out. Gaynor did hair for me, my 4 bridesmaids and my mum on my wedding morning. She did a fantastic job and catered to a variety of styles – Hollywood waves, up do’s, blowdrys. Everybody’s hair looked gorgeous and lasted all day. My trial was also great, Gaynor was really responsive to any questions I had and gave great advice. She is so easy to chat to and made it a lovely relaxed atmosphere on my wedding morning
We booked Gaynor to do my hair and make up, and our bridesmaids hair, for our wedding day. We booked with her almost three years in advance, and when we changed venues, she very kindly agreed to stick with us and come to the new venue. I had my trial in March of our wedding year, and had such a personal, cosy appointment with Gaynor, where we got to meet and discuss what I wanted, and tried out my look. Her studio is very sweet and comfortable and I was immediately at ease. On our wedding day itself, Gaynor was just lovely. She fit right in with the calm, cosy vibe we had going, and really kept the girls on track with when to get ready, even advising on what lipstick to wear despite not being there to do their make up. When it came to me, she really put me at ease and it really felt like just a nice, quiet moment before all the chaos. The hair and make up were both stunning, on myself and our bridesmaids, and I can’t thank Gaynor enough. I really highly recommend booking with her! Thank you so much.
I had the pleasure of using Elegant Bridal Hairstyling for my wedding at Auchen Castle in January and I cannot recommend Gaynor enough. She’s such a warm and friendly person who immediately puts you at ease. She and her assistant Catrina did an amazing job on me and my bridal party’s hair and makeup and we all loved how it turned out. They were also so lovely and easy to chat to, making them a great addition to our morning. I decided to book a trial as I was unsure about having my makeup done as I’d never had it done professionally, and was worried about it being too heavy/cakey. Gaynor quickly put my worries to rest at my trial, she did a beautiful job and I loved it so much we did the same thing for my wedding day. We made a few changes to my hair for the day, and it turned out so perfectly. I got so many compliments on the day, and I felt simply amazing! Thank you!
Gaynor was quite simply exceptional. She has such a calm, joyous and gentle demeanor which was a gift on my wedding morning. She styled the hair and makeup of myself as the bride, my mom and sister.
