Our second Scottish Wedding Hair & Makeup Directory Portfolio Day took place on Monday 4th August 2025 in Glasgow, bringing together some of Scotland’s most talented wedding hair stylists, bridal makeup artists and creative wedding suppliers for a day dedicated to collaboration, creativity and beautiful bridal inspiration.

Following the success of our first Portfolio Day, this year’s event was even bigger, with multiple bridal looks created throughout the day, giving our members fresh portfolio content while providing engaged couples with endless inspiration for their own Scottish wedding.

Whether you’re planning a luxurious city wedding in Glasgow, an intimate elopement in the Highlands or a romantic venue wedding elsewhere in Scotland, these looks showcase the incredible talent available through the Scottish Wedding Hair & Makeup Directory.

A Creative Collaboration for Scotland’s Wedding Industry

The Portfolio Day was designed to give our members the opportunity to work alongside other trusted wedding professionals, create modern bridal looks and build relationships within Scotland’s thriving wedding industry.

Every hairstyle, makeup look and photograph was created specifically to inspire future brides and demonstrate the high standard of artistry our directory members provide.

The day was hosted at Broadscope Studios, providing the perfect natural light studio space for multiple teams to work together comfortably throughout the day.

Beautiful styling and décor were provided by Pretty Little Details, creating elegant backdrops that complemented every bridal look, while stunning bridal gowns supplied by Opus Couture completed each look perfectly.

The day was beautifully documented by In the Name of Love Photography, capturing every detail, from elegant bridal portraits to behind-the-scenes moments throughout the shoot. Behind-the-scenes content was also created by Backstage POV Content, allowing brides to see the creativity and teamwork involved in producing each final look.

Bridal makeup artist Michaela Sands Makeup & Beauty worked alongside bridal hair specialists The Bride to Be to create a timeless, elegant bridal look full of soft glamour.

This look perfectly demonstrates how experienced wedding hair and makeup artists work together to create a seamless bridal style that photographs beautifully from every angle while remaining comfortable throughout the wedding day.

The talented team from Alcheme Beauty partnered with Alter Ego Hair Art, creating a modern bridal look for model Stephanie Heaney.
